Just when you thought it was enough now that there was Nutrient Water and Vitamin Water, along comes… da dah!
While it eschews the emetic “I’m so cool” copy text on its more popular counterparts, Bickfords Aqua Pura Vitamin H2O uses practically the same font as Coca Cola Glacéau Vitamin Water and it’s hard to believe this wouldn’t be the subject of a major trademark suit at some point in the near future (although I notice Vitamin H2O has managed to become a registered trademark. How did that happen?) I guess all of this proving that where a sprinkle of vitamins over water and some marketing equals outlandish profits, pretty much anyone who can be is a me too. Too.
Meanwhile, what’s with Bickfords Aqua Pura Vitamin H2O? Now there’s a bevy of brand names I don’t care about. Even more alarmingly, I had Uncle Toby’s: Vita Brits: Weeties for breakfast this morning. Could someone please call the branding types at Uncle Toby’s and let them know Weeties are not a Vita Brit? Urgh… At least they didn’t slug me with Nestlé: Uncle Toby’s: Vita Brits: Weeties, even though that’s what it is. I’d have been having a brand-induced fit on the floor.
