The Age & Editing Standards Online…
And another thing…
The Age, Melbourne’s better paper, has some serious problems with its online editorial standards. In the past, I’ve noticed many unacceptable errors such as mixing up it’s and its, but this one takes the cake, right on the front page. Doesn’t anyone proof-read the online content? It says a lot about the paper’s attitude to its online readership. This sort of stuff must surely, in the long run, be deleterious to the prestige of the paper.
